In 1981, I met a man who was about to embark on a publishing future, in a company called, Greenhouse. We had a conversation. I told him about my Taste of Life recipes. He told me my recipes would make a perfect cookbook for a growing aware health market. He gave me instructions on how to format my book and told me to come back when I had finished.

 

We were strangers. I was an unknown writer, but still he took a chance on me - and the rest - as they say is history! Because of his insights into the book world, I built a career around my 22 healthy cookbooks and a self-help motivation title that took me around the world. I sold more than 2.2 million books and became a speaker on the lucrative speaking circuit.

Now, with more than 30 titles to my writing career - in both traditional publishing and self-publishing - including 22 best-selling cookbooks, a best-selling self-help title, a memoir, a debut novel and a screenplay adaption, I want to pay forward the trust and faith afforded me as an unknown writer by helping other unknown writers find their chance in writing and leading them toward their successful writing careers.
